| I met Noah for the first time in January 2002. My friends informed me that he was playing at a local bar close to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. My husband and I throw darts on a league on Saturdays, but I had heard him and made sure that we were going to be done in time to go. The weather was very cold, snow on the ground and Noah was scheduled to play at 9PM. My friends had told me all about him and I knew what he looked like, sort of. We left the Moose and went to Oxford. We were the first of our group to arrive. Noah and the band was already there setting up. This small town did not realize who they had playing that night, to my surprise. But it was all the well for us. When my husband and I walked in the door and paid the admittance fee, I looked toward the stage and there stood Noah. My mouth dropped to the floor because he had cut his hair and it brought out those good looking features that he has. He looked towards us and I said "NOAH"!!! I couldn't believe it as he walked off the stage straight to me with that big beautiful smile that only Noah has. I shook his hand and introduced myself and my husband. I told him how we knew about him and he was just so sweet, so genuine, so polite, so down to earth...... It blew me away. I let him get back to what he was doing and we found a seat close to the dance floor and stage. About 1/2 an hour went by when our friends started coming in and we all sat together. Then he played! It was like every song he played was meant just for his friends. We enjoyed it so much. When they took a break, I called him to the table and asked him if I could get his autograph. He brought me 4 not one but 4 of the photos I sent you and walked me around to each member of the band and had them sign all 4 of them. I have never in my life felt so special by someone so famous as Noah made me feel that night. I am 47 years old. For Noah to do what he did for me that night after all the concerts that I have been to in my life and the people that I have met, made the biggest impression on me that you just can not imagine. More than being the musician that he is, he is absolutely the most impressionable, considerate, polite young man for his status that I have ever met in my life. I will always follow him and his music. |

| I met Noah Hunt when he was about 14. We were at a mutual friend's pool party and he introduced himself to me. He was just as handsome then as he is now and such a sweetie. Preppy, very nice and very short hair- if you can imagine that. (Sorry Noah!) We spent a couple of years in the same high school until some trouble caused him to change schools. (He actually mentioned something about the stolen equipment in one of his interviews so I don't think he'll mind if I say this). After transferring to a stricter and private school, some of us (about 5)decided that we needed to visit him. We skipped school that day (Sorry Mr. Graves! not) and went to his school. We walked in like we owned the place (even though we weren't in uniform) and asked a student where Noah was. He told us and we proceeded to see him in class before the bell rang. As the bell rang, we took seats and said we were his cousins from Florida. His teacher was skeptical but allowed us to stay--what a great guy! We left the building afterwards being chased by the Headmaster threatening to call the police. It was a great visit that I'll never forget and I doubt that Noah or the others will either. I got back in touch with Noah a few years later at a friends house-actually one of the people was the person that had the original pool party! He had the long hair that you all know and I almost fell over because of the change. The music had gotten him and he was great! Not too much later I found out that he was joing up with Kenny Wayne. I was very happy for him--hometown kid makes good. I just turned 34 and he just had his 33nd birthday so we're pretty close in age. Everytime I hear a KWS song on the radio a big smile comes over my face and I recall a young, kinda shy cutie that I met almost twenty years ago (DAMN 20?) Way to go Noah--I think we are all proud of ya and I'm pretty happy to say I know ya, and will always remember the crazy times! Krista (Holtschulte in school) |

| The Noah Fan Concert Review Interview by NoahHunt.Org NH.O: Tracy can you share your "Noah Hunt experience" from the July 29, 2001 KWSB show at the Mohegan Sun casino? TRACY: -The band came on around 8pm, and they played for about and hour and a half. I have the actual set list from off the floor they were great as always. Kenny was posing so we could take his picture and Noah kept smiling at us if we yelled loud enough. Even Sam gave us a big smile when we went up to towards the stage and were dancing. It was great, a lot of fun! NH.O: How did Noah look at the show? TRACY: - Noah was looking very good at this show. He was in his classic black on black type outfit, black jeans with a black tee shirt and a black button up shirt over it. I think he was also wearing cowboy boots, which I got a kick out of since we were on an Indian reservation. (what was he thinking? ) He looked very healthy, he was full of smiles and winks for the crowd. NH.O: What else did Noah say to the crowd? Was he playful that night? TRACY: -He was very playful and friendly towards the crowd. And he was talking to the crowd before the show, something about stopping the violence and not fighting. And between songs he was also talking to the audience, about how good it was to be there. He had good interaction with the crowd, as did all of the band. Noah was waving and winking and flirting with some of the ladies. NHO: What was his interaction with the rest of the guys on stage and Kenny? TRACY: - Kenny was hamming it up as usual, making his faces and posing for pictures, (and looking down our shirts haha!) Sam was cool too, back in his spot. He smiled and winked at me and I smiled right back. Keith stayed mostly on one side of the stage for the entire show, he didn't come over to our side but a few times, maybe only twice. He didn't move around much. NHO: What songs that Noah sang made you swoon? What Did he sing and how did sound? Did he do any covers? TRACY: - Songs I particularly liked were King Bee, Midnight Rider, the B.B. King songs, even though I can't remember the exact songs I know I liked them cause I hadn't heard them do those before. All of the songs made me swoon but especially King Bee and Shotgun Blues. NH.O: Tell us more about your view from the crowd? TRACY: -My view from the crowd was great! We were only about 8 feet from the stage when we were sitting and we were just about on stage when we were dancing. I could have grabbed the guys off the stage but I figured that would have gotten me kicked out, and besides, how juvenile and stalker like. There was nothing to obstruct my view of the stage at all. But there was a guy sitting in the booth down in front of us who kept turning around and giving us funny looks. We got some pics with him giving those looks and his bald spot! haha!! NH.O: Did Noah play his Tambourine? TRACY: -Not much tambourine playing that I remember, but he did a lot of hand clapping and that sort of thing. Noah did play acoustic on few songs, can't remember which ones, but he did play cause I have pics to prove it. TRACY: -After the show, my friend asked the stage guy if she could have a left over bottle of water that Noah didn't drink, cause those little bottles cost $6, and we were not buying one. So he gave her the water and the set list from off of the floor. Which she gave to me. Mohegan Sun casino: set list straight off the stage floor states this : Intro Somehow-somewhere-someway True lies Long gone Shame-shame-shame Last goodbye B.B. songs Shotgun blues Blue on black Slow ride Whatever * King Bee Voodoo Chile TRACY: "Whatever" meaning whatever song they felt like playing and I do remember they played Midnight Rider towards the end of the show, so this has to be where they played it. NH.O: Thank You Tracy for sharing your Noah Hunt Experience. To view Tracy's pictures from this show please Click Here. |

| I've met Noah quite a few times. He always makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. He's very nice and an incredible flirt! The photos are from 2 Uncle Six reunion shows, so it's not exactly the 420 All-Stars. Dave Cornet is on the lead guitar (he really is amazing) Todd Knapke is on the drums even though he wasn't in Uncle Six. |

| I’ve seen the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band twice as an opening act. June 28, 2000 opening for Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes at Starlake Ampitheatre and August 29, 2000 opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd at Starlake Ampitheatre (near Pittsburgh) and both times they were every bit as good as the headlining band. The first time I saw them, I was still more of a Kenny fan, but as soon as Noah walked out onto the stage I was mesmerized. Even dressed in all black, he still commanded my attention. His voice is amazing live, and he always seemed to be having as good a time as the audience was. He looked like he was having a lot of fun up there, banging his tambourine. I’m not sure how many people actually knew who Noah was, but everyone was really into the show and seemed to like him, especially the ladies, of course. “Somehow, Somewhere, Someway” and “Was” were especially good live. Seeing the band left me wishing I could see them play a longer concert, and I’m still hoping that they’ll be back as a headliner some day soon! |

| Here's the story about the Huntsville pics from 2-10-01 at the Von Braun Center. Our local radio station was celebrating 1 year on the air and they were giving a free concert with KWS and Double Trouble playing along with a couple of local acts. They were also having a meet-n-greet contest where you had to enter your name as many times as you wanted and they would draw the winner. I filled out forms for about 2 hours straight so I could make sure to win. And I did! This would be my first time meeting the guys although I had seen them play several times before. I was so nervous. When we got there they told us Kenny was sick (he had eaten some bad food or something), so he wouldn't be coming out. But Noah did! I had taken a scrapbook with me that I made of all of my past KWS shows. When Noah got to me in line, he actually looked through it and was impressed. Then I got my picture taken with him and got his autograph. I had my best friend with me and she got her picture taken with him too. I was so nervous that I didn't say much except thank you. After the show, I decided to hang around for a little while so maybe I could meet Kenny. As luck would have it, they were letting people line up and get autographs and pictures with Kenny and Noah and Tommy and Chris from Double Trouble. I got at the end of the line and I got to show Kenny my scrapbook and Noah looked at it again and they both really liked it. There was a park here in Huntsville where they played called John Hunt park and Noah pointed that out as it is his name too. He was joking and cutting up with me. It was amazing!! I can't wait until I get to see them again! To view Jennifer's pictures from this experience click here |

| The first time I ever saw Noah was the first time he ever performed with Kenny and was in Memphis in May of 1997. He had JUST joined the KWS band (in fact, I'm not even sure if he was officially signed on yet), and Kenny was doing a set at the Beale Street Music Festival. Corey came on and played for about 45 minutes, and then Kenny said something like "We're about to make a new album [Trouble Is...] with a new lead singer, and he's going to come out and do a couple of songs for y'all." So, out walks Noah looking whiter than a ghost, and they start the first song; I don't even remember which one it was. Not long after the first verse, Noah drops his microphone stand, and that high-pitched screeching sound that makes you want to hold your ears reverberated throughout the entire stage/crowd area. Noah absolutely froze, and Kenny had to coax him back to the point where he was able to sing the next verse. During the second song ("King's Highway"), Noah loosened up a little and started moving around the stage a lot. But then he tripped over something (or nothing - I personally didn't see anything, and I was right up front) and almost went flying off the stage. My friend and I just looked at each other and went, "I cannot believe this is actually happening. Is this guy for real?" Then, in the 3rd and final song, the sound board suffered some sort of minor explosion (the general consensus was lightening, since there was a big storm throughout the entire festival, but it happened so fast that no one saw what actually happened). Luckily, no one was hurt. So, that October my friend and I went racing out to buy "Trouble Is...." when it was released in stores, and she made some comment about "Oh god - I hope that dude we saw back in May is not on this album, and low and behold.......he was!" Noah has come sooooo far since then and has drastically improved his stage presence. I feel honored to be able to say I saw him way back when! |

| Rlperson discovered Noah on accident! This is my Noah AND Kenny Experience! Several years ago, a bunch of us got together to see a friend's band that was opening for KWSB in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We stuck around to see what this "young kid" was all about. Man, Kenny came out first with an awesome solo and then this dark, handsome guy came out and started singing "In 2 Deep". I said to my friend "Who is that? I thought Kenny Wayne Shepherd is suppose to sing too!" (Yes, that is how little I knew of the band.) We thought this was some guy KWS was letting sing a couple of songs and then would get off the stage. Well, "this guy" never left the stage and once I figured out (DUH!) that Noah is the voice of the KWSB, I just went with it became drawn into the best damn music I have ever heard! I went out the next day and purchased all three CD's. A couple months later, KWSB came back to Cedar Rapids and guess who was standing in the front of the line to get in? Yes, it was me! Again, the band played another kick ass concert and I knew that I was a fan for life! I have also seen the band in Madison and in Memphis. Those were two well-worth road trips! Let me tell you, I drove 13 hours to Memphis to see the best show I have seen them perform. (Maybe it was due to the "Meet and Greet" before the show where I snagged a couple of hugs out of Noah.) I was pumped and ready for some Kenny! Kenny came out on stage supporting his "new look" (WOW) and of course Noah looked mighty fine too! Kenny, Noah & DT ROCKED IT OUT! What a high! I got to look at two HOT men and listen to some good 'ol rockin' blues that night! Kenny even made it better when he invited everyone he missed at the M & G back stage after the show! I got to touch and hug Kenny's sweaty body! I have never been so touched by music until I heard that "young kid" play several years ago. I even have my 3 year old daughter asking her mommy to play her favorite song..."Blue on Black". I can't wait until the new album comes out and can't wait to see and hear them perform live again! Guys, thanks for all the good memories! Rlperson's favorite album is "Live On" and her favorite song is Shame, Shame, Shame because (I) "Love his voice in this song". She's been to 4 KWSB shows and likes Noah with short hair and beard! When rlperson met Noah in Memphis (9.20.02) She says she, "Met him at a Meet and Greet in Memphis. He lit up the room when he walked into the Blue City Cafe. He was wearing a grey shirt and a very handsome smile". She thinks Noah's best features are his "voice and smile" and she looks foward to hearing him sing on more collaborations with KWSB. |

In October 2001 KWS Band was playing at the NORVA in Norfolk, VA. It was the week after my birthday. My brother bought the tickets for my birthday, knowing what a big fan I am of Noah. After the fabulous show, we waited outside and got autographs from Sam and Keith. Finally when Noah came out my brother told him we were celebrating my birthday and that I was a really big fan of his. He came over to me and gave me a big hug and wished me happy birthday. That was absolutely the best night. I love Noah's voice and I think he is so sexy. He is the total package; looks and talent. He looked awsome. He had just come out of the hot tub and his hair was wet. He was wearing black jeans and a black shirt. DJLane first discovered the KWS band in 1997 when they opened for Van Halen. She has attended six KWSB shows to date and feels strongly that Noah's voice is just as important to the KWSB as Kenny's guitar playing. In the future she would like to hear more KWSB albums featuring Noah Hunt and a 420 All-Star record as well as a solo project! She likes Noah's voice best on the "Live On" album. Her favorite" Noah look" is with short hair and a beard. When asked what Noah's best features are, DJLane selected all of our choices, reinforcing she really does feel Noah is the total package! His eyes His guitar playing His hair His hugs His interaction with the audience His smile His songwriting His tambourine playing His voice The way he dresses DJLane also told us: If Noah was an animal, he would be a tiger because he has that mystique about him. |

I discovered Noah Hunt at a concert at Traxx in Charlottesville, Va. I went to see the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band for the first time about 4 years ago or so in a bar. My friend and I got to the bar about an hour before the doors opened, so we were front and center. Noah got squatted down on the stage (about 4' away from me) and sang "Shame Shame Shame" to me. It was intense. I looked away at first and then told myself 'Girl, he's singin' to you, look at him' (I know he probably picks a woman out of every show to sing to, but this time it was me). Wow!!! It's a moment in my life that I will never forget!!! Faye told us that she has attended 2 of Noah's Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band performances. Noah's best features are his guitar playing, his interaction with the audience and his voice In the future she would like to hear more Noah Hunt recordings with Kenny Wayne. |

| A Noah Hunt Experience by... Amanda | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I don’t even know where to begin. There is so much to tell! I guess the beginning is a fairly decent place to start, so I guess I’ll start there. My mom and I embarked on our Tour Of Insanity on the sunny Sunday morning of May 4th 2003. We hopped a plane from Tampa for a quick flight up to New Orleans. That night was the first of three KWSB concerts we’d be attending over the next four days. The entire 24 hours we were in New Orleans was crazy. That night, we arrived at the House Of Blues almost two hours early to safely secure our place at the front of the line. We apparently weren’t the only ones with that idea. A good 10 to 12 people were already waiting. Ahhh…dedication! I love it! Anyway, we got in line and were told that we were in the receipt line. Apparently, the New Orleans HOB has an absolutely ridiculous rule in place. If you eat dinner there on the night of the show and save your receipt, you get to go in first. Well screw that! I sure as hell didn’t fly all the way up from Tampa to be stuck in the back. At this point, things get a bit, how should I say this, deceitful. I walked up to the young male bartender, who was thankfully straight as they come, and proceeded to sweet talk and charm the pants right off of him (well, not literally, although that would have been fun too). I managed to get the nightclub manager’s name from him, which was my goal. Perfect. I got what I wanted and hauled ass back to our hotel, where I knew we had a HOB Store receipt from some shot glasses we had bought earlier in the day. Now, for the men reading this, let me explain to you how NOT FUN it is to run down the streets of New Orleans in 3 inch heels and wearing the furthest thing from a sports bra ever created! Although I must say, the construction workers and homeless men along Decatur appeared to really appreciate my efforts to get to my hotel and back quickly. I don’t know what it could have been….hmmm. With my store receipt in hand, I made the horribly embarrassing run back to HOB to cross my fingers and wait in hopes that I could pull this off. The things I do for this band… A Security Guard came around checking receipts and I managed to distract him so he wouldn’t look too closely at my incorrect receipt. Right when I thought we’d gotten away with it, I could tell by the look on his face that he had realized it wasn’t a dinner receipt. That’s when I threw out his manager’s name and told him that his manager had okayed it and that we were given permission to use that receipt instead. “Well, if he said it’s okay, then I guess it’s fine.” Success! Granted the entire scheme involved deception, lies, and some not so very graceful running on my part, but dammit it worked and that’s all that really matters, right? So, after jumping that minor hurdle, my mom and I made our way in to watch the show front and center. The only place to be! On to the good stuff, the show! The line up for the night included Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton, also known as the legendary Double Trouble. They were all joined by the one night only return of Jimmy Wallace. Now that was a great surprise! The guys had the place rockin’ from the first note played. The place was packed and we were all ready for some rockin’ blues and boy did we ever get it! The show began and ended with Hendrix. Everything in between was straight up, in your face, Blues Rock! From Kenny’s blistering guitar solos that leave one speechless to Noah singing the shit out of songs, the talent on the stage that night was just unbelievable. Tommy and Chris were on point and amazing, as usual. Those guys are just great. I never tire of seeing and hearing them play. Jimmy was just absolutely fantastic! I hadn’t seen him play in over a year and this was a great treat. The five of them gelled together perfectly. A highlight of the show was Noah singing King Bee. That man just has far too much fun singing that song! And I have far too much fun listening and watching him sing it! Watching him as the veins popped out of his neck and sweat poured down his face, as he sang the hell out of it, one had to stop and briefly wonder how there ever could have been a debate over who the better lead vocalist is/was. The chemistry between Kenny and Noah is pure magic and undeniable. I have no doubt, that one day we’ll see the names Shepherd/Hunt along side the names of Richards/Jagger and Perry/Tyler. That type of chemistry is rare and special and fun as hell to watch on stage. Kenny was at the top of his game that night. With each day that passes, he just gets better and better. His stage presence is remarkable. He has an absolutely rare and amazing talent to torture that Strat and make it sing notes that a very select and legendary few have ever been able to do. His guitar solos were amazing and inspiring. From the obvious joy he got from playing “You Done Lost Your Good Thing Now” to watching him, full of energy, stomping around the stage playing “Voo Doo Chile” with a fiery passion that is rare and missing in mainstream music today, you got the distinct feeling that you were watching something very special. A wonderful highlight of the night was the last minute addition of “Texas Flood.” Apparently, the guys weren’t quite ready to call it a night. So instead of launching into the show closer “Voo Doo Chile,” they busted out with an absolutely killer rendition of “Texas Flood” that just left the crowd in complete awe and wanting more. We definitely got more, this time in the form of “Voo Doo Chile.” The force behind Noah’s vocals when he sings this song is just chilling and Kenny’s playing is the stuff legends are made of. It’s been said before and it’s true, Kenny took a little Stevie, a little Jimi, and then added his own touch to it and made the song his own. The crowd loved him for it! After the show, I snagged the set list and his pick off of the stage. It wasn’t an easy task. I had a couple hundred people behind me trying to accomplish the same task. After snagging my souvenirs, I made my way outside and saw a few people standing by the bus. With nowhere special I needed to be, I waited with them. After the crowd from the show made it’s way down Decatur and away from the bus, Kenny emerged to sign autographs for the 10-12 of us left out there. He was extremely down to earth and nice as could be. The fans also wanted Noah and one fan managed to get a crewmember to go and get him out of the bus. So out came Noah to the crowd’s delight, to sign autographs and take pictures. I got Kenny to sign my ticket stub and got the both of them to sign my set list. It was a great way to end a killer night of listening to some of the best damn music around and watching two legends in the making. One last thing. When you watch Kenny and Noah perform, you realize you’re watching one of music’s best-kept secrets. Their fans are dedicated and loyal. But we’re also a bit selfish. We like being able to see them in venues such as the House Of Blues. We cringe at the thought of having to sit in the nosebleed section of a 20,000-seat arena to watch them. We also realize that one day, the rest of the world will finally catch on. The talent of those two is too great and amazing to be kept a secret much longer. But we, who have already seen them, are the truly lucky ones. When the rest of the world finally catches on, they won’t know what it’s like to stand front and center with only 1,000 of your closest Blues Friends and have Kenny get on his knees and play “While We Cry” about 5 inches from your face. So, we have good reason to keep them music’s best-kept secret, albeit selfish reasons, but good reasons nonetheless. Who can blame us for wanting to keep them to ourselves? Enjoy it now, while you can, because from what I saw, those guys are back and ready to go! |

Q: Have you met Noah Hunt? A: Yes Q: If yes, Noah's fans want to know: How did Noah look and what was he wearing? A: He was wearing a t-shirt and carrying his school books lol. I went to school with Noah and lived accross from Ruth and Jim Hunt, Noah's Grandparents. Noah was always just Noah, lol. We had a nickname for him in High School though. Q: What is your favorite album that displays Noah's voice? A: Heartland Soil Q: How many Noah performances have you been to with Uncle Six? A: 1 Q: Noah's fans want to know: How did Noah interact with the fans and his bandmates? A: as far as the uncle six show it was awesome i think i saw it at Bogarts down inCliftonbut it was sooooooo long ago. As far as Noah goes, I remember seeing him growing up when he went to Roselawn Conden college prep school then of course when he went to New Richmond and before he performed at concert halls and across the globe I heard him sing at a party that was thrown out here n New Richmond during High School, He sure has come a long way in the years. Never seen his new band play, looking forward to the Madison Theater show, I'm going to try to get some friends together and go down there. Q: It's fair to say that Noah's voice is just as important to the KWSB as Kenny's guitar playing? A: Strongly Agree. |

| The NOLA show (April 2003) was the first ever for me and I was just taken back by Noah the entire show. As awesome as Kenny was...I could not keep my eyes off Noah! Then when they came out for their encore Noah grabbed my hand and pulled me to the stage.....I was so happy! Then we waited for them after the show for autographs and only Kenny came out. I was so sad! So I asked the bodyguard dude for Noah and he came out and talked to me. I am such a crackhead.........I grabbed him and hugged him and told him how much I was in love with him! He went on to sign other autographs and came back to me. Apparently he did not think I was too crazy cuz he hugged me goodbye and kissed me on my lips and called me by my name. I just melted..... So how do I get another kiss????? I am being so silly but he was so down to earth and sweet.....I cannot help myself! .......oh and his singing isn't too bad either! |

| Noah Hunt & Jason Dennie Performance At Century 21 December 1998 It was Dec 98 the kws band was on a break. I went to the show with my older sister. I feel very fortunate to live in the same area as Noah and to be able to attend many of his local shows. Noah played with Jason Dennie from the "Long Black Train" CD. It was a very nice show. After the show Noah & Jason had a small crowd around them. They started talking to all of us about the good old days for them. Jason put his arm around me & what I remember is he had on the softest leather coat I ever felt. Jason is a very kind & gentle man. I see why Noah cares about him so much. I could feel Noah's love for him. It was a great night. It was at a place called 21's Century in Covington Kentucky. |

| PFG21 tells us that she discovered Noah Hunt through the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band. She has been to 4 KWSB shows but has not attended a 420 all-star show because she lives in Colorado. She thinks Noah's best features are: His interaction with the audience His smile His voice "(I)Have been a huge Kenny Wayne Shepherd fan since the beginning and I think that Noah just fits in so well. He's got a voice and stage presence with Kenny that is SO right.." Her favorite album that displays Noah's voice is "Trouble is" and "(I) Don't really think I can pick a favorite song with Kenny-he's so well suited to the music they make that he really just sounds great on all of it..." She also agrees that Noah's voice is just as important to the kwsb as Kenny's guitar playing and that Noah is a flirt on stage and off. In the future she would like to hear more Noah Hunt recordings with Kenny Wayne and a Noah Hunt solo project. The highlights of a Noah Hunt performance for her are: Man, he's just got great interaction with the audience that is different than Kenny's and I do think they compliment each other well. It just seems that they really get along well. If Noah was an animal, he would be a "Panther" because "he's stalking and paying attention to the audience". |

| December 21, 2003 ~Noah Hunt & The 420 All-Stars play the Blue Note in Cincinnati As Amanda & I stepped off the plane in Cincinnati it was freezing & snowing. I thought maybe we had finally lost our minds this time! But we were determined to have a good time even if we froze to death doing it! The night of the show we got to The Blue Note as the doors opened & were able to snag a table up front by the stage. While waiting for the show to start we met Billy Rose who told us the story of how he hooked Noah up with Kenny. Having seen Noah with Kenny several times over the last couple of years I have to admit before the show started I was a little bit worried it wouldn’t be the same seeing Noah without him. And it wasn’t the same, but every bit as good. With Noah on stage with his own band his personality was a lot more evident and he was a lot of fun to watch. The music was as good as it gets. They did a good mix of originals, KWS, and stuff from Uncle Six and Long Black Train. Carol Walker was a nice surprise and really added a lot to the show. We got to talk to Noah afterwards and he was extremely nice and gracious to us, as was everyone associated with him. By the way, Noah looks awesome with a beard! The whole night was fun from start to finish and I would definitely do it all over again. |

| I saw Noah with the 420 All-stars in December '03. They were playing at the Blue Note in Cincy. It was an incredible show! I met Noah! Before I tell you about that, let me give you a little background info. so you'll understand why this was so special for me. I have been a fan of his (and KWS Band) for many years. My husband and I have purchased tickets and made plans to see him live several times over the years. Unfortunately, I have rotten luck. Each time, I have missed the show. Once (at Bogarts) we were there, the opening band was on and I passed out cold. Now I'm not a big drinker, I don't use drugs. It was just so hot and crowded, I got dizzy and hit the floor. So, they took me home and I missed out on a great show. The next time his tour came 'round to Cincy, I was 8 months pregnant and couldn't go. There were a couple more "incidents," but I'll spare you all the details. Because of my unfortunate luck, we arrived at the Blue Note a couple of hours early. When we parked the car, we saw some guys unloading equipment from a truck and went to check it out. I'll give you one guess as to who it was. Yes, Noah. We introduced ourselves, chatted a little, wished him luck and went our separate ways. He was the nicest guy. So polite, and charming. When Noah got on stage, everyone in the bar were to their feet. He has such an incredible presence on stage. The entire crowd was dancing, singing, and cheering all night. He had a new back-up singer with him and she was awsome too! The show went on for hours, it was the best night of my life! After the show, we went out the back door and there stood Noah. He smiled that incredible smile. We talked some more. I was so impressed that he remembered our names. I have an unusual name and people I've worked with for years often can't remember it. He signed autographs for us. As we parted, he said to me "goodnight darlin'" and as a married woman, I had to try very hard not to blush. So, that was my experience, I'm looking forward to next time Sincerely, Chasity |

| Picked up my tickets at the Bottle & Cork ticket office at about 8:15 p.m., asked about passes & the guy didn’t know anything about it. Said to ask at the door. I started getting worked up about this since I really joined the fan club just to get a meet & greet. I’d never met Kenny or Noah before. So I asked at the door. Yeah, what’s your last name the guy asks & I told him. He said that the passes were right there & we were the only ones who had them! Imagine our surprise on this. Then we had to find someone who knew about the meet & greet. That took a few minutes. Finally found someone who told us to wait by this back door & in about 20 minutes someone would take us to the tour bus & this guy told the guy at the back door this. This guy thought that this was something that we managed a meet & greet & asked how did we accomplished this. Said he that he never even met them. And I told him. I was getting very nervous at this point. So this lady with long hair in a ponytail came & said that since it was just the two of us, she’d take us to their bus. While waiting, one of the staff guys said that they (the band) had the biggest vehicles in town, the tour bus & a hummer limo, parked right next to the Bottle & Cork. So we waited & Kenny came out first, then Noah. Oh, & before this I saw Jimmy go into the bus, but I didn’t recognize him until later as he looks different. We just got to meet Noah & Kenny. We shook hands with each of them. As soon I saw Kenny come out everything that I wanted to say to either one just completely went out the window. I’m kind of shy anyway, especially with new people. And not only this, but here were two people standing in front of me who’s music I’ve loved for so long, but I didn’t get to tell them because I was rendered speakless. I did manage to thank Kenny for coming back to the Cork as this was the very first place that I saw him after my husband mentioned to me to mention this to Kenny. Noah said that they got to go to the beach to which I told him that I said to my husband, yeah I wondered if they got to go to the beach today. Neither looked like they got sunburn so they must not have stayed too long. (Note here: we have the best beaches around. Dewey Beach has the bay on one side, the Atlantic Ocean on the other.) Noah asked where we were from. Yeah, I told him the name of the city like he’d know were that was & my husband said that we are from around here; we live about 20 minutes away. I got each to sign the Live On CD insert & Noah signed the Uncle Six The Flood CD insert for me. And Kenny said, “Look Noah, Uncle Six”. Then I asked if I could get a picture with them & they said sure, so my husband took the picture. He sometimes chops off my head taking a picture, but with my digital camera, he did alright. I got in the middle. Kenny & Noah are tall & I put my arms around them & they put their hands on my shoulders. My husband had told me before laughing, “Don’t you be putting your arms around them!“ Hah, try & stop me. We shook hands again with them & said nice meeting you, they said enjoy the show & that was it. It seemed to be over in 2 minutes, but I’ll never forget it. To me, it was worth the money to join the fan club to meet them. I’ll probably not do it again, you know, I’ve met them. I just want to add here that though it wasn’t a long meet & greet, I can get a sense on what they’re like. To me, Kenny is strictly business. Noah comes across a more down to earth, wants to get to know you a little, JMO. |

| My husband took me to see Kenny Wayne Shepherd's Robinsonville, MS, show for our anniversary on March 11, 2005. I have been a huge fan of Kenny & Noah since first seeing them at Memphis in May in 1999. I was so excited to get to see them again!
Our evening did not start well since I left our tickets at work - only to realize it after we were already on the road - and I didn't have a key to get into my office. It took a while - thankfully the cleaning people were there when we made it back - but we finally got them and got back on our way. To add to our frustration, the trip took much longer than we had anticipated, and we arrived at the concert 45 minutes late. When we walked in and heard Kenny on the guitar and Noah's awesome voice, it was all good! The concert was awesome! With such a small venue, I even got to stand at the stage for the majority of the show. It was so great! At the end, they announced that Kenny & Noah and the rest of the band would be signing autographs. Needless to say, my evening was only getting better! WOW! I was going to get to meet my favorite singer in the whole world - Noah Hunt! After standing in line for an hour, we finally made it up to the front of the line. I could not believe how down-to-earth Kenny & Noah were. Even after putting on their show and signing so many autographs, they were still extremely friendly to everyone, especially Noah. While our cd was being autographed, I asked permission to take Kenny & Noah's picture. Instead, I was offered the chance to have my photo made with Kenny. The camera was handed back to my husband after the picture was made, but - being the sweetie that he is and knowing that I was really there for Noah and not just Kenny - he told them, "No, she wants her picture made with Noah too." Noah happily obliged and made my night! What a great guy! My husband still picks on me about how I was STILL grinning the next day. |

| I have been a KWS Band fan since early '98, when I moved to St. Louis from Columbus, OH. I was hooked the first time I heard "Blue on Black" played on KSHE, STL's classic rock station -- the ONLY station that plays KWS Band. I have been to several KWS Band shows in STL, but not to any of Noah's "hometown" shows. Believe me, it's not for lack of trying. I look to see if he's performing whenever I go to Ohio to visit relatives. Well, I finally got my wish this past December! I tried to buy tickets online for Noah & Jason's Thursday (12/29) show, but they were sold out. I needed a ticket to get into the first set, so I sent an email to my relatives in Cinci begging for one of them to get tickets for me. My sister-in-law went to Stanley's and got my tickets. I was so excited! Matt (the hubby) & I arrived at Stanley's at 8pm on Thursday. I had insisted that we get there when the doors open, even though the start time was 9pm. Noah & Jason didn't arrive until almost 10pm, but I'm not complaining because I got to sit in the 2nd row. Stanley's is a really small pub, so I was pretty damn close. It was well worth the wait (Noah looked gorgeous -- WOW!). Noah & Jason performed a beautiful acoustic set featuring songs from "Long Black Train." That was the first time I had heard "Train", so it was great to hear it performed live. Noah thanked everyone for coming to the show. He said hi to Amanda & her mom who flew in from Florida. I yelled out, "St. Louis!" Noah replied, "I love St. Louis. KSHE, right?" I responded, "Uh, yeah, KSHE." He asked me if I had gone to RibAmerica. I sadly replied, "No." (I was out of town that weekend, dammit!) The chairs were removed for the second set. I made my way back up to the front, where I met Amanda & her mom Audrey. Amanda & I hung out & danced, drank beer & took lots of photos. I sung along to the songs I knew ("Alone", "Last Goodbye", "Where Was I?") & faked it for the songs I didn't know ("King Bee" was awesome!). The guys started playing "Cuba on My Mind", but Noah got stuck on the lyrics. He said, "Hey, Dad, do remember the words?" His dad Jim, who had just turned 60, came on stage and sang "Cuba". Go, Dad! The show ended, and I asked Noah if I could please, "Pleeezzzeee!" get a photo with him. Not only did he take several photos with me, but he hung around & took photos w/everyone else. I mentioned to Noah that my friends think he & Matt look alike, and I asked him if I could take some photos of them together. Before the show, several people asked Matt if he's Noah's brother. (Stacia informed me that Noah doesn't HAVE a brother!) There were no tickets for the Friday show w/the 420 All-Stars, so once again we showed up at 8pm. Amanda & Audrey were already inside, so we hung out w/them & Rose. After Grand Oversoul's set was over (they were really groovy), Amanda & I made our way up to the front to "claim" our spots in front of the stage. Amanda & I met Kelly & Jennifer from Michigan, and the four of us danced & took photos (while drinking beer, of course). At one point in the show, I'm still not sure how this came up, Noah pointed to me and said, "And this girl here, from St. Louis, was singing last night. She sounded like Aretha." (The Thursday show was quieter, and I can sing pretty damn loud.) He said to come up on stage, which was only a small step up, and asked me my name. He said, "Nikki from St. Louis." I replied, "Actually, I'm from Columbus." He replied, "Nikki from Columbus from St. Louis." I teased him and asked if my singing was any good. He replied that he didn't know, he was too busy "concentrating". Amanda vouched for me & said that I was "great". I asked Noah if he wanted me to sing, but he politely declined. Maybe next time?! Thanks so much, Amanda & Kelly for taking photos! Several days later, I checked Noah's site & read Laura's review of the show. I was excited to see that I was mentioned in the review: "Noah took time between sets to smile for the cameras with adoring fans (us included) and almost had one convinced she was going to do a duet with him." Thanks for posting my photos, Stacia & Meow! The site looks great! (Photo of me & Noah taken by Amanda) |

| I met Noah with one of my best friends Brian H in 1995. I started going to to see Noah twice a week. Watching his band and watching the acoustic night. Then I was off to boot camp, a few military schools and finally Okinawa. In my frantic new world with the Marine Corps, I had lost touch with my past life and the Cincinnati music scene. One day feeling homesick I heard a voice on the radio and it grabbed me and made the world a small and comfortable place. The named band was the KWS band and I knew the voice was Noah and I knew he made it. Recently while in Iraq I would play my old Cd's of Noah and uncle six and the KWS Cd's. His voice was home! I remember talking with his roommate that year in 95 and telling him Noah was a star and stardom would eventually catch up and it did. ~ Ron B. |
