About the Music:
I have an eclectic taste in styles of music that I get into. Hip Hop, Classic Rock, R&B, Latin, Country, Hard Rock, Roots Rock, Acoustic, Blues and Reggae are some of the musical genres I've explored over the years. Singer/songwriters and artists who can strip their songs down to an acoustic version and still carry the song and it's emotion are among those I appreciate most.
I enjoy exchanging thoughts and sharing opinions with other music fans and going behind the music to discover what prompted the songwriter? What inspires an artist? Does an artist tend to deliver an image to sell records or stay true to their individuality? What else besides what we've already heard musically from an artist are they interested in creating? What can I learn about music and poetry from this artist? What instruments can they play? Artists who play the piano, acoustic guitar or the tambourine or who can use their voice as their instrument are among my favorites.
