Sebastian got a bad cut on his leg, so she takes it easy on him to make sure he is rideable.

He appears to be doing fine.
The wound is a superficial cut from rolling in his winter shoes in the paddock.

It's a beautful snowy white day on the farm!

Sebsastian got the wound last night and Gretchen wrapped it.
She says it looks a lot better already. Sebastian always seems to find a way to hurt himself. Who knew winter shoes could be so dangerous?

Sasha gets Sebastian from his paddock and walks him to the barn.

She tacks him up western today and they go out for a short ride.

Sasha takes Sebastian up the hill.

An artic blast has blown through the region and it is really cold today!

The next day, it snowed again so I go for another trail ride by myself.

I go down the main road with lots of traffic even though there is snow.
|
|
|
|
|

|
It's Martin Luther King day so no school. Sebastian and I decide to go to school!
|
|
|
|
|
 |
We had to pass a few snow plows but we finally made it!
That is the football field behind me.
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Lots of snow heaves dropping off the trees and landing on us.
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Sebastian cantered all the way up the hill to the school, his snow shoes work great!
He actually likes to walk in the snow too!

|
|
|
|

|
It's over a mile to the school and it's starting to get cold.
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
We stop by the front of the Highschool.
|
|
|
|
|

|
Then we go up to the middle school. You can see Wildwood Farm from up here!
|
|
|
|
