Holy F'in Sh*t! If you've never seen Noah and the 420 All-Stars before, then get your ass in gear and go to the next show! You'll love it!
It's 2:30am and I just got back from The Blue Note. The show was amazing!
They did KWSB songs, Long Black Train songs, Uncle Six Songs, EVERYTHING. It was well worth the trip up here to see them. I meant to snag the setlist, but completely forgot. So, I can't even begin to think of the order of songs and what not.
Anyway, they've added a female singer to the line-up and she is off the charts talented! She brought the house down.
After the show, I talked to Noah, and he said that the album with Kenny is almost completed and there should be a tour around the Spring/Summer time. After all of that, he said he'd really like to record an album with the 420 All-Stars. Which, after watching tonight's drink fest...er...I mean show, would be a kick ass album.
Well, all in all, it's been a night of cheap beer (A LOT), amazing music, and great company! Noah was wonderfully sweet to us and all of the other fans and friends, the music was off the charts, and all of the people we have met have made this trip wonderful.
Now, I'm off to bed to sleep off all of the cheap beer and dream of sunny Florida.
Oh, I was right up by the stage, and took a bunch of pictures, but it was with a crappy disposable, so I'm not sure how well they turned out. As soon as I get home and get them developed, I'll post them.
G'nite, I'm going to bed and sobering up now. LOL. _________________

The show was great. They changed the selist a little bit. They had Billy Rose come up and play a few with them. He is the guy who initially hooked Noah up with Kenny Wayne Shepherd. The new girl is Carol Walker. She's from Cincinnati and has sung in bands for years here. Noah and Carol go way back. She has a phenomenal voice. They have great harmonies together. The crowd was good. Maybe a little smaller than the last time at the Blue Note. ~GW

Yes, they have a website: www.walkerproject.net She's apparently known Noah for a few years. The first time I saw her perform with the 420 All Stars was a couple of months ago in the Rivertown music club - an informal showcase for local musicians' original music,
started by Noah's guitarist, Snake, and his girlfriend, Kelly.
The 420 All Stars performed, and Noah invited Carole and Kelly up to sing with them. I guess that was the start. Carole also performed her own songs that night, solo. As talented as she is, she's very approachable, and really seems flattered by compliments. I hope Noah
keeps her in the band. She is truly talented, and an absolute doll!
